Little Stojčica
- Little Red Riding Hood-

by Milica Drajic

Unce upon a time, a little girl called Stojčica, lived in Paris with her grandmother Vukosava. She always wore a red hat and cape and was also called Little Red Riding Hood by everyone who knew her.

One day, Leposava, a friend of Stojčica’s grandmother gave her boyfriend, Stojko, a basket with some cake inside and told Stojko to give it to grandmother who lay sick in bed.
„Remember not to talk to women strangers.“ Leposava said.

When Stojko and Stojčica met, they fell in love at first sight.
„Oh, how beautiful you are!“ said Stojko.
„Oh, and you are so handsome“ said Stojčica. … and with that everything started…

A few days after that, Stojčica decided to go to Leposava and Stojko and thank them. On the way to their house, Stojčica or the Little Red Riding Hood met the Big Bad Wolf.

„Where are you going little girl? “ he asked with the biggest smile.

„To Stojko’s and Leposava’s house on the other side of Disneyland, “ said Stojčica.

The wolf took a shortcut and run ahead to their house. When he got there he went inside and hid under the bed cover.

When Stojčica got there, she saw Stojko.
„Stojko, you are so sweet!“, said Stojčica. „But where is Leposava?“ asked Stojčica.“
„Here I am, and I know that you are secretly in love.“
They watched the wolf suddenly turn into Leposava.
„What big teeth you have“, said Stojko.
„All the better to eat you with“, said Leposava.
She jumped out of bed, started chasing Stojko and Stojčica and swallowed them whole.

However, Leposava also had lover, who was a woodsman. He was hidden in the wardrobe all the time, and he fell asleep. He woke up because Leposava could not stop hiccuping after her two big bites.

’’Damn Leposava, let them out! I cannot sleep!’’ shouted he.

’’I wish I could’’, sighed Leposava. Oh God, why are you punishing me?“ screamed she.

Then the woodsman waved a piece of lamb skin before her nose, and, surprise, surprise, she sneezed Stojko and Stojcica out! She was allergic to lambs. That is why she was part time a wolf and part time Leposava.

Then the woodsman, Stojčica, Leposava and Stojko all had cake and tea. They were all married the next day and lived happily ever after.
